Nil Serraïma is a multidisciplinary visual designer, director and co-founder of Estudi-image. Originally from Barcelona, now based in New York, Nil focuses on creating unique experiences and experimental animation, for brands, festivals, music artists and museums around the globe.
He began studying art in college, and then Graphic Design at ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering. In 2016, he completed a masters degree in 3D Motion Graphic Design from BAU.
After working as a designer and motion designer for award winning studios in Spain he left office life to pursue more work at the intersection of art, technology and emotions; exploring new ways of communication between our digital and physical worlds and investigate the boundaries between disciplines.
Nil has worked with artists and brands such as PepsiCo, Alizzz, Alex Trochut, Jeff Koons, Nike, Adidas, Sonar Festival, Spotify, Exploratorium, Mobile World Congress, Art Directors Club of Europe, FAD, Banc Sabadell, Seat, Danon, Ambar, ELISAVA, among others. As well as studios such as Hugo&Marie, De-yan, Collins, Firma, Clase, Onionlab.
Nil has been awarded for his work by the ADG Laus Awards for Graphic Design and Visual Communication and by Art directors Club of Europe, also his work has been exhibited at: Best Graphic Design and visual communication of the year from ADG-FAD and SONAR Festival.
